Error when adding item to new location

Hi - thanks for any insights on this... 

 

I've just set up a 2nd mobile location for an event this weekend - and for the life of me cannot add items to that event.

 

adding an item to a different location works just fine, but this new one (and i've now deactivated and added a duplicate of that extra location) continuously gives me a "Sorry, an error has occurred" notice, with zero explanation or indication of WHAT or WHERE that error might be.

 

Not entirely helpful. 

And of course it's midnight:30 on a friday and i'm trying to be ready for an event at 8am tomorrow... and there's nobody on square support.... 

 

Any insights appreciated... i've looked at all the things that seem obvious or even remotely connected... i think....
