Can you have 2 different companies on the same device if you have 2 different readers

Can you use the same device for 2 different companies? If so do you have to have 2 square readers?

first, you can't have 2 Square accounts logged in at the same time, but you can sign out and then sign in with the other account.

second, readers don't care what account they are connected to, they will work with whatever account is signed in to the device it is plugged into or connected via Bluetooth.
