Keep getting a 404 page not found
I created a sub category, linked some items to it and attached it to a prime category. However when I checked my site and clicked on the category link I got a 404 Page not found window. So I then deleted the sub category but still got the 404 window when clicking on the category however it did go to the category page when I refreshed the 404 page. I checked with other browsers and got the same result. I then cleared the browsing history and caches from the browser but this didn’t work either. So I unpublished the site and re-published it, but I am still getting the 404 page. Does anyone know how I can get rid of it?

Hi @hbg_01, I'm sorry you're running into this. Can you share a link to your Online Store and a link to your category where you receive 404 error? I'll have a look into this for you.

Hi Emma, many thanks for responding. I have just had a session with Square tech support and the issue has been resolved. It appears that there was a problem with non-allowable characters being used in the permalink. These have been removed and it is all working fine now. Full marks and thanks to Square for its excellent tech support.
