Issues With Newsletter Signups

Hello Community,

I have newsletter signups installed at the bottom of my home page.

The first issue is that I don't get a notification when someone signs up and there are no help articles explaining how to turn on notifications.

The second issue is that the email addresses are going into a generic location and I want them to go into a specific group instead.  Again there are no help articles explaining how to do that.

If anyone can tell me how to fix these problems that would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Thanks for helping out here @doc_choc, and thanks for your post @Poppy7!

As mentioned, there will be different options around email collection depending on which platform you’re using. Square Online, or Weebly.

If it’s Square Online, then this article on customer information collection is always a good point of reference. It touches on the various options for email collection, how collected emails are stored in your directory and creating Smart Groups for Marketing.

If you still have questions after taking a look, just let me know.

Hi @Poppy7 sorry to hear you are having a problem. Are you using the signup link from the Square Markeing dashboard or is it a signup link from the the older Weebly?

If it's not the signup link from Square Marketing, I would suggest looking to use this going forward if possible as parts of the old Weebly are being migrated to Square Marketing. The Weebly Marketing I believe will be stopped at dome point in the coming months.
