I have been using square for a while, but had a break.
I have noticed when setting back up that my receipt's now have a large barcode printed on them now.
Is there is a way to remove the barcode?
I have looked at the business part in settings and can see the change of lots of other parts of the receipt but nothing about the barcode part
Is this possible?

Our Retail Product team confirmed that the barcodes on receipts are a default feature, aiming to help sellers process refunds and exchange faster. It's currently not possible to disable this feature.
We'd like your feedback on this though - would you mind sharing why you'd like to remove the barcode?
In the meantime, feel free to file a feature request on our Ideate page.

The purpose of this feature is to facilitate exchange and returns. However, I understand not every seller would need it.
I've reached to our Retail team to confirm whether it's possible to disable barcodes on receipts, or if it would be a feature request.
I'll get back to you as soon as I have an update.

Thanks for finding this out for me.
The barcode is a great feature for some, but for me I sell food/sweets/cakes and I would never need this feature
The size of it is a very big thing size wise also to have on the receipt when I don't need it
