Delays with Authorising payment stage
Anyone in the past few days had any delayed in processing card payments using the manual method on the iPad? In the past it takes few seconds but the past few days it’s taking more than 5mins at the “authorising” stage

Hi @daniel91, so sorry to hear you are having this experience!
Slow processing can be caused by a weak network connection, so if payment processing is taking more than a minute, please make sure you have a strong internet connection. You can troubleshoot by turning your WiFi off and back on, reconnecting to the network, or try to process payment using your data service plan instead of your usual network and see if that will help.
Please also ensure you have the latest Square app on your iPad and that the operating system on the iPad is up-to-date as well.
