How to verify my website with google and upload verification file to website?

Hey everyone,

I'm new to using square and had a question as stated above. When I want to verify my square site, it says I have to upload a file to my website but I have no idea how to do that. Please let me know if anyone can help out with this! Thank you:)

Agency partner of Square here. Are you talking about ownership verification with Google? Shown at https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9008080

It sounds like you are talking about the first verification method using the HTML file upload? As far as I know, sellers do not get access to the file directory of your website, hence do not have the ability to upload HTML files on your site. Please try different methods listed on the link provided above.
