Hi all,
Need some advise on how to add a variable to a checkout.
What I'm lookng for is some way of being able to do a special offer.
Example being if the customer purchases say widget A, they will automatically get widget B for free if it's in the basket or automatically added to the basket (this would be the better plan)
Any help would be aprecaited..

Hi @engineshed ๐ thanks for your post.
I'd be happy to help.It sounds like you're interested in setting up a Buy One, Get One type of discountโdoes that sound correct?
-
Buy One, Get One: When a customer buys a specified quantity of an item or category, a discount will apply towards additions of the same item or towards different item(s) added to the basket. For example, you can create a BOGO discount so that when a customer purchases two hats, theyโll receive 50% off the cost of a scarf.
Are your sales conducted in person, online, or both? Once I know your current setup, Iโd be happy to help you with the configuration.

Hi There,
You are nearly there.
What I want is if a customer purchases something in volume, they will get something else as a free gift. and not a gift of the same type.
heres an example.
Customer purchases a case of 12 bottles of beer, they will then automatically get a free glass thrown in as well.
Can you see what I'm trying to descirbe, as I carnt work out how to do it with the app, as I have all the products in there, but just cannot tie in a deal like I descibed above.
All sales which are done on the App are face to face.
