how to add custom item to customer check on POS for restaurants. This very common feature on other systems.

I'm not sure I'm understanding what you mean by this. Can you describe what you're trying to do with more details? I can reach out to our Restaurants team to have them chime in on this once you walk through your workflow and business need. Were you trying to create an item on the fly or simply add an amount to charge to the existing order?

Hi EJ,
I am trying to add item to the check, but I do not need this on regular menu. For example, if customer order staff that not on regular menu and I would like check to reflect that. So, I trying to add custom name and custom sale price.

@Hermitagesf Thanks for clarifying.
There's not currently a way to name a Custom Amount item without actually saving it to your item library.
The best workaround for this would be to add the name of the custom item to the notes section and add it to the current ticket using the "+" symbol.
The item name will still reflect "Custom Amount", but the notes will reflect in the open ticket and receipt.
