Setting up a DIY Customer display
So I saw this article and had a few questions: https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5492-customer-display?fbclid=IwAR1DtFKC2WhSbXahOKGwPJ3CnSUAQ...
I would like to set up an impact kitchen printer in my food truck. Since there seems to be no bluetooth options for an impact printer, I would have to make my POS system hardwired with a USB printer. If I hardwire my POS I will not be able to give the customer my tablet for signatures and tips, so I would need a separate tablet for this.
Do both tablets need to be iOS or just the customer display?
Do I actually need the square stand, or do I just need an adapter cable to add a USB port? I would like to stay away from the square stand as it will take up too much room in my limited space.

Hello @DeliVolv!
Both your device and customer display would need to be iOS. You don't have to have the Square Stand, as that's essentially just used for convenience and swipe functionality. 👍
