If you mean that you only have the bank's routing number, then no, you can't take a payment yet. You also need the account number that the deposits will go into. On top of that, you will need to get your account verified by Square before you can receive deposits. The verification process usually goes pretty quickly, but sometimes can take a business week or slightly more. You can take payments before the account gets verified, but you will not receive any of your funds until the account becomes verified - Square will keep your funds in your account, so don't worry about losing money.
