I selected a refund on accident and it was a transaction from the previous day. Is there a way to void the refund?

unfortunately, refunds are not voidable. You would need to charge the customer again.

I am to refund a customer so I did but come find that the card that was charged in the first place is now cancel. So the refund is unable to recharge the original card.

At this point, the refund cannot be reversed, but as long at the customer's cancelled card is connected to the same bank account as the valid one, their bank should be able to rectify the credit.

We sent a refund to a customer that is pending now, but no email was sent from square. The customer emailed us this morning that he cancelled that card and we must send refund to new card. Did you receive an email from square confirming your refund? I am assuming that we must wait to refund him again until we hear from square. Sounds suspicious to me, how can we get in touch with square representatives for answers?

you will not be able to refund a credit card purchase to a different credit card. Credit cards can only be refunded back to the original card. Most credit card companies still accept refunds to a closed card and will automatically transfer that to the customer's new card.

Hi @Brian17210,
Accidental charge is a refund reason so Issue Refund must've been hit first to get to that.
We can't assist with reversing a refund here from the Community since it's intended for seller to seller conversations and we don't have access to account specifics here and most of the time they cannot be reversed.
You would've wanted to contact our direct CS team to see if this was possible if it was still pending but now it might be too late to attempt it. We can never guarantee a refund reversal so you might need to charge this customer again.

This is not good if we are not able to reverse or have Cash app go after funds that are accidentally sent twice and other person says they did not receive it. i would like to know where it went and I think Cash app should be able to help or this not good Business!
