How to setup for order ahead
I'm trying to setup my on-line shop in such a way that customers can place orders Monday-Friday for delivery on weekends. Orders placed on weekends will be delivered the following weekend. Or if possible, prevent people from ordering on weekends.
I looked at the fulfillment options and it looks like it will only allow me to select which days to delivery, but ordering is still open 24/7.
Any suggestions?

You are going to have to play around with your opening times - prep times - opening hours and delivery hours to see what best suits your business. A simple as a person taking an order for next Saturday - computers don’t like to work this way - especially if live inventory is on. We currently have our prep time set to zero - have delivery times different to that of our opening hours - our delivery is set to 9am - 6pm with fulfilment set to 2 days and a cut off time of 5am. This works great for us. As a workaround that you create an item and duplicate it for delivery on the date in question.
Another work around could be to add a modifier or option that is set as a date. E.g sourdough loaf - option Sat 7, sat 14, sat 21, sat 28 or first weekend of month - second weekend etc….
Another option might be turn off scheduled orders and make an item Sough dough for Saturday and change this weekly…
I think there is a super seller baker who uses this - I’ll ask at next meeting…
There might be a bette workaround someone on here…
