How can I customise my staff's schedule for a 2-week rotation in Appointments ?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original to make it more accessible to other sellers with similar queries: 2 week working patter.

 

 

We have a member of staff (beautician) that has a 2 week work pattern i.e week 1 different to week 2.  Is there a way to set that up so that when clients are booking appointments on line it uses the 2 week rolling rota?

While you can only manage your staff's weekly schedule in their profile settings ( in Appointments > Staff > Edit Staff), 

you could create personal events in your Calendar to modify this schedule.

 

Personal events allow you to block off a period of time to show unavailability on your online booking site. Your customers won't see these events, and will only view available times with this particular staff. 

To create a personal event from your Dashboard:

  1. Navigate to Appointments then Calendar.
  2. Tap + or press and hold the desired time slot > tap Create New Personal Event.
  3. Add an event title (e.g., busy, meeting, available). Block Time should automatically be enabled. If it’s not, simple toggle on to remove online booking availability.
  4. Enter the date, time and duration.
  5. Click on Set Repetition and toggle on Repeat Personal Event. Then Save.
  6. Select the staff member.
  7. Tap Save.

Note that you will need to create multiple personal events to adjust the schedule as desired.
