Ecommerce/Website Not Loading

Hi

Having some issues with getting the website live. www.just-jonah.co.uk

The web address is hosted with Namecheap - i have altered the CNAME and A records for square and added NS1+2

The site says it is connected to square - at the weekend i unpublished it and republished it in an effort to resolve SSL issues - it still isn't loading??

Any help gratefully received. Thank you

Cheers

Frank

We set up a different sales site with weebly to help with all these issues some time ago…. SSL and more recently cookies -

You have a lot of items set up on this!   Must have taken some time……

Adam b is normally the go to person - our work around was to buy a domain linked with  weebly as they did not accept .co.uk domains.  Though you’re in the depths of Cname and Name servers….. You might want to reach out to adam In the relevant area on here to see if her can help you.

Hi Twiggy

Thanks for the reply - the funny thing was when I was testing it, it worked fine - the problem stems [i think] from the SSL cert I have at Namecheap [comodo] and the one where I am trying to link it in Square.

To be honest, i started trying to put things right, and the more i tried, the more my non-opposable thumbs made a hash of it!!!

I think the issue is with SSL - do you have a user name link for Adam B, please?

Thanks

Frank

Tra jumped in - (Sorry Tra) x She’s more on our time zone - NS1 /NS2 and DNS always scare me a little especially when we hit peak times like Christmas / Valentines and Mother’s Day -   There’s also a huge Covid baby boom so hopefully you’ll be SSL quickly….

Hey @justjonah, I just want to jump in and see if I could help as well! While I'm not Adam, I did have a look at the DNS records and it looks to be setting up correctly (the A records are pointed to the 199.34.228.164).

Usually when connecting a domain, you only need to update the A records and don't need to do anything with the CNAME. If CNAME is needed, what you can do is double-check that the CNAME where the hostfield is www and the destination is just yourwebsitename.co.uk

If that has been setup correctly, please let me know. I can check with our ECOM specialist team who can help look into this further as well.
