Domain problems
Thought I’d ask here to see if anyone has had the same. I setup a free plan website and after I done it I really liked it so brought a domain else where and upgraded my account with square to a paid plan. Upon trying to set my DNS with my domain provider they are telling me I cannot edit the DNS settings. To use the domain here with Square. So I now have a domain I cannot use as it’s a .co.uk which square says cannot transfer to them as it has to be .com, org.
so I’m looking for other options rather then losing out on £9 for a domain I want to use and having to buy a domain with Square.
thanks.

Hi @Sullys, sorry to hear you are unable to change the DNS records. With most domain hosts, you should be able to change the DNS records from your account. Have you contacted their Support team to make sure you cannot edit the DNS records. Some domain hosts may require a call to do these changes for you. Can I ask you what your domain host is?
If it is not possible, you will need to purchase your domain with someone else or Square. With the following provider you can avail of automated domain connection and can be sure you can connect your .co.uk domain to your Square Online Store : GoDaddy, Google, 1and1.com
Community Manager, Square
