Do items I create from my computer automatically sync to my iPad?

Hey,

Can I fill out my items on my computer, and then add them to my ipad? If so, how? Can I use my ipad and just add them on it directly? I want to be able to use my tablet for wholesale orders, being able to send a invoice too.

This kind of thing is tough for me. Any help I would really appreciate.

Whether you use invoices or ring up a sale like you would in a normal retail environment, you would want to create items. If they're expected to pay you at the time of the sale, I personally would use the retail interface. If they'd be paying at a later date, you'd send an invoice.

Whatever items you create on your Dashboard online will feed onto your iPad Square Register app and vice versa. You can send invoices on your iPad.

Hi Van,

Thanks for replying. Glad to hear it as I wanted to add everything on my computer. Much easier. So I have another questions. When I am sitting with a customer, is there an area she can see the product photo as I make the order with her? Where do I go, the dashboard? I already have a website so I don't need a square website. Not sure how I add the items she wants, and then do the check out.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Normally you'd use your iPad when working with a retail customer. Are you selling items from your website in person? I suppose you could show your customer the items there and then make an invoice on the computer or ring up a regular sale on your iPad.

Hi Van,

I will be doing a wholesale show this week selling my products to retailers. At the booth I have only samples. The retailer chooses what they want, and pay for the order there at the show. I saw the area for an invoice but then I would still have to add my products somewhere in square? Right?

Thanks

Our Item Library didn't sync with our iPad.  What did we do wrong?

Hey @auxiliray, is there any chance you might have a second account? I've seen this happen a few times where people have multiple accounts or created a second account by accident. Try logging out of the app and your Dashboard to check!

I'll keep an eye out for your reply.

I'm having the same problem. Created item list on computer but it's not showing the items on my ipad but it shows the categories I created for the items but not the items.

We had forgotten to set up our Ipad with the dashboard.  Once we did this, everything we enter on our dashboard syncs with our Ipad.
