Why when I enter charge amount the sales tax is different from what I have in my settings a

Why is my sales tax different from what I put in my settings and its says split amount  when Iam charging my customers and the sales tax is different from my settings its doesn't seem to be taxing the full amount I put through square please help someone??

Do you have more that one tax rate per item?  Make sure they are both turned on in the item and make sure in your tax settings  they are set to "Add Tax To Item Price".
