Daily bank transfer reports
This is a question that never seems to get a straight answer, so I'll give it a try...
On my bank statement, I get an entry from Square **per day**, with the total amount that has been deposited that day; i.e. regardless of how many transactions have added up to this total, there is just one amount shown - perfect.
Now the problem arises when I try to reconcile these entries on my bank statement, with what Square says it has sent for that day.
From the dashboard, I can go to Money>Balance>View all transfers, but if I export this data, it results in a csv file showing each individual transaction - which is not what I want.
I need to be able to download a list of daily transfers from Square to my bank, e.g.,
01-01-2023 Total transferred £xxxxx
02-01-2023 Total transferred £yyyyy
03-01-2023 Total transferred £zzzzzz
This would then allow me to match those transfers to my bank statement:
02-01-2023 Faster Payments Receipt from Square = £xxxxx
03-01-2023 Faster Payments Receipt from Square = £yyyyy
04-01-2023 Faster Payments Receipt from Square = £zzzzzz
I reiterate: I do NOT want a report detailing which transactions make up those totals.
The main reason for this is that the account is for a theatre club, run by volunteers, and so the accounts do not get made up on a daily basis (sometimes not even a weekly basis) depending on where we are with a production and its ticket sales.
I hope that I have asked this sufficiently clearly. 🤔

Hey, not going to lie, I struggle with this too! Cannot find it anywhere, so I just have to amend the csv with the dates which is a little time consuming. It's quite annoying. Be good to find an answer though 😐
