Calculate value of stock on a particular date

My accountant want to know the total value of my stock on a particular date (a few months ago). Is there a way to produce a report of the value of my stock on one date in the past?

I don't believe there is an exact way to do this without using third-party accounting software. 

Are you using Square for Retail Plus? If so, if you head to Reports > Inventory reports, you may be able to use the Inventory by Category report or Project Profit report by filtering back in time, it may give you a rough idea.
