I just created a square account. The business category i chose was food and drink and the type of business is food truck. Upon opening my dashboard I noticed that there is not "menu' option. Just the option to add items. I am also not seeing options on the dashboard important to my business such as the 'team" option.
I am not sure if this is because the location I set my account to. It's Guyana.
I also created a US account and i am seeing these options on the dashboard. Does square only offer these options to US accounts? let me know

Hi @Hawksburgers, thanks for your post 🙂
Your merchant category code (Food & Drink) won't have any impact on your Point of Sale settings.
To have access to menus, you'll need to sign up for Square for Restaurants. You can learn more by hitting 'Get Started'.
It's important to note that Square is not available for payment processing in Guyana at this time, and to accept payments with your US Square account, you'll need to have a registered home address there.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!

Square's functionality might vary depending on the location your account is registered to. While Square offers payment processing in many countries, some features, like the dedicated "Menu" section and "Team" management, might not be available in all regions, including Guyana at this time-
The option to add items suggests you can still manage your food truck's inventory and create basic sales functionalities. You could try contacting Square support to confirm feature availability in Guyana. In the meantime, consider using categories within the "Add Items" section to organize your menu.

The menu option is not on my square dashboard. This issue may require immediate attention, especially with the recent introduction of custom travel mugs as part of our promotional lineup. These mugs serve as valuable incentives for customers and are crucial for enhancing brand visibility and loyalty. Addressing this discrepancy swiftly ensures smooth operations and demonstrates our commitment to providing comprehensive and accessible services through the Square platform.
