Square Terminal Unresponsive

Recently got the square terminal to use for my pop store in this coming Sept. However, the moment i opened to go ahead and set up the system. It’s really laggy and touchscreen becomes unresponsive from time. I recently turned it on just to connect a receipt printer to go along with it. Boy, i had to restart the whole system and its really slow. 

i don’t know what i should do? Should i return it or try to figure out the system? I have factory reset the system multiple times, rebooted it and nothing has changed. 

Any advice?
