Google Verification & Google Analytics
Very Frustrating
I have the codes copied from my Google Analytics account & it keeps saying
"Formating is incorrect"
I'm not a computer nerd! ie......no computer education. It looks easy but I'm doing the correct codes.....maybe something wrong with it?
help
May Luv & Light be in you always...in "all ways"

Hey @SpiritinBalance! You're only using part of what you need to paste in there, which should be a full meta tag.
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="your verification string">
What you have in there now should replace what is in between the double quotes for content=.
I hope this helps, but if not you can follow this link for more information.

Where in God's green earth (in one's google analytics account) do I find this invisible so-called Google Verification string? The only code snippet I can find in my GA account is the Global Site Tag (gtag.js).

Hi there @happy_trailhead
Google's guides/instructions can be a bit confusing, but what you are looking for is your tracking ID or UA (universal analytics) number.
Once you have this, head over to the Square Online dashboard and click Settings > Integrations > Google Analytics
You will paste the code where it gives the UA example. Important: you do not need to type "UA-". Instead, just paste or type in the numbers you are provided (after UA-).
Please let me know how this goes, and if you still need assistance. 😊
