Website Product Photos Pixelated

When I try to upload product photos to an online square item, I either get an error message saying it's too large or a pixelated photo after I compress the image. The compressed image looks good & crisp on my desktop in full screen mode, but once I upload it (whether it's png or jpg) it becomes pixely. What can I do? Here's a link to an example I mean (the first few photos were uploaded a long time ago and I had no issues (perhaps a year ago) the last 2 product photos are the new ones I tried to upload and the edges are pixelated: ariseandthriveco.square.site/product/made-for-more-mental-health-edition/2

I ended up deleting some of the pixelated ones as I had people viewing my website. But the 1st photo is still pixelated for me if you look at the text of the book cover, especially where it says says "Mental Health Edition" on the cover. I should clarify that on mobile it looks fine, but on desktop it's pixels
