Tips options and distribution

Would love to be able to have the option for customers to tip specific amounts to each person. We have a nail salon and often times 1 customer has different services amongst different staff and the tips are split based on percent of total, but would be nice for them to be able to select how they want their tips split. Or an option for us to edit and redistribute the amount based on the customer's preference and request.

Currently, we have the following options for distributing tips. 

 

You can pay out tips based on who processed the transaction (direct attribution), or you can collect and split tips as a part of a tip pool. 

Tip pooling is a form of tip distribution where tips are aggregated into a collective pool and divided among a group of tip-eligible team members. Depending on the needs of the business, sellers will use a variety of different splits, the most common options being to split by hours worked in a workday and to split by hours worked in a business shift.

 

If we have any future updates to tip distribution, we'll be sure to annouce it here in the Community 🙂
