How do I create a search button for my legacy Weebly store, not the Square store
I am beyond frustrated trying to contact Weebly support. I have the performance site so am entitled to phone support but when I call the vm asks for an 8 digit pin but I cannot find out where to obtain the pin. There doesn't seem to be an option to stay on the line and actually speak to someone. I sent an email to weebly help (using an old email address that I had) 8 days ago - no response.
My question is how to add a search button to my site. I can see the ‘search box’ button over on the left column but can’t figure out how to add it to the header, preferably on the right hand side net to the cart.
I was able to drag & drop it lower down on the screen. Also how would I configure it to actually work ?
thanks
Kathleen

Hey @KEM,
I reached out to Weebly for help on this one since we're only trained on Square Online here on the Seller Community.
They said there’s no way to do that unless you customize your theme, and they wouldn’t recommend that unless you are really familiar with HTML and CSS.
The Square Online store does have a search field in the header next to the cart. If you do decide to rebuild your store using that- we can help move your site upgrade over to the new store.
If you ever need phone support you can reach our direct CS team here instead of reaching out to Weebly since we're partners now.

Thank you for the reply. I was able to finally reach a support person at Weebly who told me about changing the theme to one where the search box was embedded. At this time I think I will leave well alone....thank you also for the link to reach your CS team for future.
