Good day, the square pos app closes and loses entered information if the screen times out.

Thanks for reaching out.

Can you let me know what device you're using? It sounds like for whatever reason the device is closing the Square app rather than putting it in the background, which is what should generally occur if the screen goes to sleep and you've not finalised a sale.

What sort of situation are you in where you find you're losing sale info? One workaround may be to simply extend the device's display before the screen goes to sleep!
