Customizing Category page?

I have gotten products on my square website now. I managed to get them into category's easily enough.

I want to edit the category page add descriptions for sub categories at the top? but when I go to edit the category page it will not allow me to add.

Is this simply not possible?

Are you wanting to add the Subcategory to the drop down menus and then add the description on the page in a text box?

Hi. I already have the categories listed.

When a shopper clicks on it. They goto a new product page.

Is there any way to add info to that page.

For example. They click the shoes category and above we describe the shoe brand with products below?

Yes, you can edit that page. Go to the Edit Website button, then click on the drop down menu in the top left corner - It will list all of the pages you are looking to edit.

Yes I've seen that. However it does not allow you to add anything

Hey @FrozenWater you can add a new section on your pages where you can add a description on the shoe's brand. When editing your site, select "Add Section" and scroll down until you see options like "text" or "text and image" to set up the page as you need it. I have a screenshot of the toolbar below:

No it doesn't.

I understand how to add content to a PAGE.

I want to add content to the Catagories pages. However you can select the page to edit, but it will not allow the addition of more sections.
