Why is the Storefront page not showing up in my Pro Site?

New to weebly. Upgraded to the Pro so I could make an online store. I get the Category and Product pages, but no Storefront page in the Builder.  It is not  in the drop down menu under and Pages. Cannot figure this out?  Anyone have a similar issue?  Thanks!

Hey there! Sorry for the confusion! With some of the changes to the Store structure, the Storefront page has been replaced with the Product and Category elements. It helps ensure you can customize your store exactly as you want it. If you're looking to keep things the same, you can simply place the Product element and fill it with your products as normal, but I'd recommend experimenting with the elements a bit to find a mix that works well for you.

Are you serious? I just spend 4 hours trying to get storefront back. Nothing in the help forums or googling helped me. Plenty on how to get rid of storefront, but zero on how to put it back. I found this thread while trying to send a message about it and it showed up in a pop up window. Seriously you make it more complicated than it needs to be. How about a note in the store set up tab that says "Oh BTW we are not using storefront anymore, so use the elements instead. Feel free to waste your time setting up store front options though because you wont be able to use it when you're done."

Add a standard page.

Drag the Products element on the page.

Click on the element to select your products and pick from the expanded display options you have now,
far more than the limited ones the old style storefront page had.

Hope that helps.

In a less agressive way, I agree with this.

I own two websites on webbly, one that I created before the switch and one after.

The older one still has the storefront, and because of that, honestly made trying to figure out and understand why I couldnt create a new storefront on my new webstie that much more infuriating.

I appreaciate the ablitly for more options and being able to customize things more, but I wish you would offer both so that we the customer can choose.

I LOVED the sleekness of the old storefront. Something I CAN NOT create with the drag and drops, as I have tried. Espcially since the categories need these large buttons under them to link them, instead of the words being the links themselves.

Also, with the new drag and drop to create the store front, it can link sometimes back to the "storefront page" through the cattergioes when you're looking at a product. And as the "storefront" doesnt really exsits anymore/that its uneditable/addable, its like a bad linking. Its fustrating and confusing and I can only hope its not the same for my customors.

You might be able to add a link to your storefront using the external link option on the pages tab. The storefront page is essentially a category, so its URL would be something like this:

http://www.mysite.com/store/c1/Featured_Products.html

If you entered a permalink for your storefront it would use that instead of "Featured_Products.html".

Hi,

I created a Storefront but can't add the fully created Storefront to my Main menu.  I've read you can create a new external page and enter the storefront link but I can't find the Storefront link.  I didn't realize you could create your Storefront in the regular page builder.

Please help, I don't want to have to recreate my Storefront.

PS;  I'm also having trouble getting the images smaller.  If I can't make them smaller how can I delete the images?

This should be the URL of your storefront page, @BThttp://www.interfaithfoodministry.org/store/c1/storefront

Which images are you trying to make smaller?

Two Methods for Accessing & Editing Storefront (if you can't access in Weebly editor):

1) Follow the link below when you are ready to edit the page:

https://www.weebly.com/weebly/main.php#/store/categories/1

2) If you are in the editor and editing a specific category page information, you will see this tag in the URL store/categories/10 and numbers could be 5, 30, 20, or 2, etc. Then what you can do is delete the ending numbers, if applicable, enter 1, then it should look like this: https://www.weebly.com/weebly/main.php#/store/categories/1. Press Enter on the keyboard once you're done and it should automatically redirect you to the page. If the page does not change automatically, double click the URL tab and press Enter on the keyboard, once or twice, until the page change or reload.

Side note: Storefront is the very first category page, so enter number 1 in the URL (after https://www.weebly.com/weebly/main.php#/store/categories/) may be an easier way to access it and edit it since some stores are unable to access by link or menu. Creating an external link for storefront page might not solve your issue if you are trying to gain back storefront page in Weebly editor. Every external link is accessible in the published website.
