I couldn't replicate when I tested. Can you post a link to a page that has a gallery doing it?

I see what you are talking about, but I don't know if there's a way to fix it, unfortunately. I can double check with support in the morning, but it may just be the way the particular element works with the theme.

Since your site is using a custom theme, you also might want to try switching to a standard theme to see if that resolves it for you.

unfortunately it does not work also with this method. I tried creating a test site from the beginning, but using the gallery element I get the same bug

What browser are you seeing this with? Is your browser window rather small or large?

I have tried both Chrome and Firefox. The screen is quite large. But do you also visualize this "movement"?

I don't, actually. At least not in Chrome or Safari. When I view an image and then click outside of it, it just fades out and I see the page again.

I, when I click aldi out of the enlarged photo, I see the initial page that moves slightly to the left. It almost seems that when I open a photo the background moves and then returns to its original position only when I close the photo again.
