Highlight some link text like Click for PDF, highlight them, and then click on the link symbol that appears above in the editor bar that floats above an active text frame. A pop up screen comes up and upload your pdf under the FILE category. Allow it to upload... and you should notice that there's a color of the linked text (Click for PDF). Hope that is clear enough.
