Help. I'm in trouble. I paid to upgrade this account a few days ago. I then went to Settings to install my favicon and I'm still being asked to upgrade. Why?
I therefore tried configuring my own favicon package by myself in html/css code editor and now the whole site won't show. Firefox refuses to upload any of my site pages and calls the site unsafe. Read the French :
" La connexion n’est pas sécurisée.
Les propriétaires de (site) ont mal configuré leur site web. Pour éviter que vos données ne soient dérobées, Firefox ne s’est pas connecté à ce site web."
Similar story on other navigators..
I quickly went and undid all I'd done but nothing's gotten better. I...and Weebly are still showing as unsafe sites!
Please, I think it is in both our interests to solve this quickly.
I've paid my dues. All I want is for my favicon to appear and also to get my full paid features.
But first priority: Please get my site running again as soon as possible. My header code's blank as before and I've deleted the files I added in html/css , but I can't seem to be able to fix this.
Counting on you.

Hi everyone !
I thought that since I'd started this post, I might as well give some feedback as to the resolution to my problem.
Anyway, I've now gone back to being a happy client of Weebly after the intervention of Leslie the Customer Service Advocate. All the hiccups and frustrating moments- largely due to my misunderstanding of things, have dissolved.
Concerning the favicon set-up:
I also found this step-by-step guide link to setting up favicons for one's site across all platforms.
It looks like its from a Weebly site and doesn't violate any Weebly coding so I'm sharing it here:
https://weeblytricks.weebly.com/how-to-add-a-favicon-to-your-weebly-site.html
It helped a lot. Enjoy !
Regards.

Hi @JoBo
It's asking you to upgrade because the site you are working on is on a free plan. You need to be on a Starter plan or higher in order to use the favicon feature. Do you remember the amount you paid and the plan you choose? It also appears that the site may be under a different account. If this is the case the upgrade would need to be done from that account.

No, Bernadette. I flatly disagree.
I believe that site is no longer on a free plan. It is an education account with student sites.
I paid on 3rd of January 2018 and have the 47,94 $US payment confirmation and welcome email + Mastercard payment statement from my euro account to prove it. I used this very email to register and it is this same account. No doubt there.
If upgrading is taking time to complete, please say so, not that I haven't paid. That is incorrect and infuriating.
My site is still down, with a very bad error message, by the way.
Even if I'm on a 'free' plan, this shouldn't be the case. Please do something about this quickly, or get someone who can to do so.

Looks like the error message is related to the fact that you don't appear to have SSL enabled on your site
>Editor>Settings>General then select "Enable" for SSL

I'm really sorry for the confusion @JoBo
This is an Education account, but it is on the free plan. The invoice 47,94 $US you see is for the domain name registration. I sent you a private message with more details on your billing, though.

I can't believe Weebly asks for that much for an ordinary domain name without an email attached to it, then asks for even more for other features. I want out.

We have 5 days to return the domain name to the registrar @JoBo. I don't see any messages in my inbox, but maybe you replied to the support rep from yesterday? Let me know if you still need me to do something for you.
