copy site removes blog posts

Is it true that copying a site removes all the blog posts? I copied my site and then want to try out a new theme with the  sopied site, and the blog entries are blank. Is this normal All the material I have read on the support says that changing theme will migrate content.

Hi @jpmort Yes, unfortunately, if you copy a site the blog/posts will not copy over. Copying the site to try out new themes is still a smart thing to do. You'll know relatively quickly how many edit you'll need to make to the original site and it will make the updating go much more smooth. For instance, header content will definitely need to be redone, and depending on the current site, you might want to break content up into sections.
