change text opt-in

How can I change the text next to the opt in checkbox at a Weebly form?

At this time I don't believe you can, unfortunately. I believe that is something that is still being considered, though.

This is really a big problem that you can´t change the the opt in text in Weebly form. In Europe we must inform customers in their  mother tongue and it´s not English except in a few countries.

It's been a few years since the last post on this... have there been any improvements? I'd really like to add an opt-in to my survey, but this language won't work for my purposes. Thank you!

Improving and adding more translations is something we're still working on generally, although I don't know if that specifically includes the text for the checkbox.

Yes, it is required in Europe.. without this text next to the checkbox you are not in compliance with GDPR, thus anybody from EU who is using this can get a penalty..

Yes, great post! I need to change the text to ask site visitors if they would like to subscribe -- this is very different from 'accepting marketing & promotional material'!!!

Please do allow text changes, Weebly! Certainly in the HTML/CSS editor
