Is anyone having trouble with Weebly sites timming out and not loading. I work at a school and I have a Weebly site and since last Friday I haven't been able to access it regularly. We have Sophos network security and somehow it blocks it? My site has worked perfectly for the last 5 years, but now I can't get it to load at school? Any Suggestions, Thoughts? Thanks!

Sounds like your school needs to whitelist the whole IP range instead of just individual addresses. If you suggest that to them I'm sure they can help you get that set up.

If you have antivirus software installed, try temporarily disabling it and then logging in. You may also need to check with the person in charge of the network firewall in order to do this. If this works, you'll need to add Weebly to the software's "safe" or "accepted" list. Just in case they need it, our IP ranges are:
199.34.228/22
and
74.115.48/22

This is the reply I go back from Joshua (from Weebly). Since my site is through weebly (skoczylas.weebly.com) can I change where this IP address points to? Thanks again, Matt
Hi there,
In order to pull up the site without issue, the IP address needs to point to 199.34.228.49.
Thank you!

Oh, hmm.. maybe he misunderstood what you were asking. We don't have any servers down, but is Sophos able to add the IPs to a safe or trusted list? Do you experience the same issue when you load your site from a different connection such as mobile, or from a home network?

Hi again. Thank you so much for your help with this issue. My tech administrator has changed Sophos so that my site and everything from weebly is safe and trusted, but somehow it still blocks it sometimes. (it is very random) On Friday she said this: "Weebly has a couple of IP numbers for the site. 199.34.228.54 and 199.34.228.53. DSN can resolve to either of those so when we get the .53 it allows us through, if we get the .54 number we get blocked."
My site works great at home and on my phone, but not at school where I need it... lol... It's so strange. My site has worked perfectly up until March 2nd. I have been with Weebly for a long time and this is my first real problem. Thanks again,
Matt

Hello
I am having the same issue. My IT team at the college says that no weebly sites or IP addresses are blocked. I even payed for the IP plugin and added the school's IP addresses to the safe list. That is not working either. My webpage is sphlearn.weebly.com
Accessing the site works great from anywhere else but when people are using the college WIFI network, it says "Connection Timeout"
I really do need this resolved and hope you can help.
thank you.
