View Entries on the Contact Form

When editing my site, on my "Contact Me" form, I used to be able to click on "View Entries" and it would list all those who had sent messages through the site along with all the details.  Now, when trying to click on "View Entries" nothing happens at all.  Clicking on the other tabs "Form Options" and "Save" works.  Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Thanks, Erin (www.makeupbyerin.com.au)

Sorry to hear that!

We're happy to look into that for you - that button actually isn't working for me either.

Can you see your form entries from your User Home or Dashboard (the page you see after logging in)?

Thanks!

Erin

Hi Erin (!)

Yes - I can see them from the Dashboard - never noticed that was there!  That's fine - I'll look there in future.

Thanks so much for your quick reply,

Erin

I can't locate the dashboard any longer it used to take me right to it as soon as I signed in. Now it's either the editor or the home page that everyone sees...

Erin,

Is that the only place that I can see who sent me a Contact Form? Do I get an email notification? Do they get a confirmation email?

Thanks for your time.

Hello, Jes!

If you have your email address added to the form. Then you would receive a notification via email when someone submits a message to your contact form. Enter the form settings to adjust that. The account email address is usually entered by default. But, you can add more than one address. Just separate each email address with a comma. Be sure to publish after making the changes. So, that it will be live.

Hello,

I'm trying to change the email in the contact form but I don't get any options or anything to edit it however I'm on the editor page.

Can you help me with this.

Thanks,

Hi Griet,

There are two contact forms on your Contact page. The top form is not from Weebly, it was added to the page using HTML code. You will need to reach out to the third party company who provided you the code in order to make changes to the form.

The bottom contact form IS from Weebly. To edit the bottom form, simply click the form, you will then see the rest of the page go dark, and you will see three buttons on the upper right of the form: Form entries, Form options, and Save.

Click the blue Form options button, then change the email address on the pop up that appears. Then click Save, then publish your site.

I have the free site.  Is there a limit of form submissions? ie: contact, registration, newsletter, custom, etc?

I have a lot of giveaways and get a lot of submissions.

Hey there! No worries, there isn't any limit on the amount of submissions on Free hosting. The only limit there would be a maximum of 5 fields per form.

I am also having trouble viewing the entries on forms on my website. In the past I clicked on the form and then on view entries and could see not only the basic info, but also run through all the detailed info. Now nothing is happening when I click that option. I went to the home desk but it only shows me the contact info for each person, not the detailed information.

Thanks,

Sorry to hear that, @jowhalegordon. It looks like you're using an OS that is a couple versions old (or at least the last computer you logged in with). Try upgrading that to the newest OS and browser versions. If that doesn't help let me know.

I prefer to read my contact form entries on my website. I am getting spam contact forms and I prefer not to open them in my email.

Hi Erin,

I received notification that a contact form has been submitted on the dashbord and via email however, the only information provided from the contact form is the user's email address. I tried to use the "view entries" button in the editor however, it only says that when forms are submitted that is where they appear but it does not inlcude information from any of the 10 contact forms that have been submitted.

Maybe I'm missing something. I appreciate your help with this issue.
