Using wsite-title text in site, but not in browser

Hi,

My website is www.bugisuproject.co/

I want to use the wsite-title to show simply "B" with customised font inside the site as I have here:

Capture

However, this has caused the titles in the browser to appear as "B":

cap2

Is there some way to keep the "B" text in the site (without uploading a logo image) and remove the title from the browser title?

Cheers,

Brody

You might be able to do that if you make sure you're using an image for the site logo, then on the Settings tab save your site title as nothing or just a space. That won't remove "- Home", though.

I'm confused - so you mean the only way to do it is to save the text as an image?

Well, not necessarily, but that's just one way to go about it. The title in the browser bar is automatically generated by a combination of site title and page title. You could also try going to the Settings tab and removing the site title there I think it might leave the text you entered for the logo intact.

Thanks for the replies Adam, but unfortunately the text logo is directly linked to the browser bar title. It seems you can't have one without the other..

Ok, thanks for trying that. I'm not sure that it's possible to change that with theme template changes, either. Or at least I haven't tried it see if it's possible. Maybe another Community member has an idea?
