Trouble adding a title to blog posts
I just started a blog with weebly and have noticed a small problem when creating a post. When I click "post title" and enter the title of my blog, it cuts off the top half of the words. Even after I publish it the problem is still there. It's not a huge issue as I can simply add the title in large letters in the body of the post itself, however I would like to figure this out so I can use the feature as it's designed to be used.

Hey @taylorfletcher!
Can you go to the Themes tab, click on Change Fonts, then click on Blog Post Titles? What is the line height set to for that? Try increasing that to something that is at least the same as the font size.

The same thing happened to me. I was able to resolve the issue by logging out, clearing the cache on my browser, and logging back into Weebly.

I tried clearing the cache and changing the height of the title fonts yet I'm still not able to make any edits.

Sometimes, I enter a title and text into the body (by cut-and-paste from another window) and after I publish, the title shows up as the current date

Pasting in text can bring in hidden code. I think what's happening is the editor is attempting to remove that and it removes your title text with it. Since there's no text at all for the title, it defaults to using the date.

This has been happening to me too, except I'm only typing it in. When I go to change it, I'll backspace but the text will freeze. I've tried logging out and refreshing the page already.

Can you try switching to another browser temporarily, @Cocoabean? It might something specific to the browser you're using.

Has there been any progress on this error? I'm trying to add a blog post title now and it refuses to even let me click in the title bar. I've tried all the suggestions here, changing browsers, clicking out of the site then back in, adjusting the line height and nothing works. Please help. I'm so tired of being frustrated with this every week.

Sorry to hear that, @ChristaT. I wonder if this is specific to certain themes. If it's not too much trouble, can you try switching to a different theme temporarily to see if that helps?

If I do that and then switch back, will I lose all my setups and have to start over? Or will they still be there?
