Thumbnails are correct, however when clicked image is wrong

I have tried using both a gallery and a slideshow. When I upload the images I want to use, the thumbnails are correct. I publish the page, go and check, and when I click the thumbnail, the image it displays fullscreen is not the right image. It is using an image from a different page. How do I fix this?

Do you happen to know if all of the image files are unique file names?

I think that was the problem. I renamed the files I was trying to upload, and it seems to be working. I forgot that when PowerPoint saves slides as images, it just names them "slide1" etc. each time. So I had two pages using images with the same name.
