Thumbnail Preview for Blog Posts

How would I create thumbnail previews of my blog posts? I would like to see more on the page than just the full, most recent post.

Hey @BrandGenie! You might want to look into using the Read More element.  You can place that in a post, and any content after it will be hidden on your main blog page.  Content that falls before it will be shown, so you could put an image the top of your post, then place the element right after it.

How would I add a thumnail preview to my homepage? I have a separate page for blog posts and I would like to link them from my homepage. Right now I've added text to the home page manually linking to the blog posts. It would be great if there were a widget to manage this easily.

You might be able to do that using the RSS feed of your blog with an app from our App Center:

I'm not sure if any of those will pull images, but it's worth a look.

It would be nice if I had this option available in my admin menu...unfortunately it is not there. Does it depend on the type of subscription?

Just to clarify a bit, what option are you referring to here?

I tried using the "Read More" function and it's showing content in the thumbnail after where I placed it. Is that a glitch or did I miss something?

I'm not sure what you're seeing, @RRV. Can you post a link to your blog or take a screenshot?

@Adam Here's a screenshot, showing how the thumbnails show up in a text message linking the post, and then from my editing page showing that the GIF is posted beneath the "read more" partition. You can check it at renatavoci.com, thanks for your help!

Thanks! Are you sharing a link to the blog post itself, or just to the main blog page?
