The "Error Publishing Site" issue seems to have returned.

As of just a few minutes ago (4:00EST on 7/25/18) the editor shows the "there was a problem publishing your site" message when I try to publish it. No changes are being saved. I searched the forums and I see that this has happened before, so I just wanted to make sure this was not just happening to me and that Weebly was aware of it.

Edit: Clarity and grammatical error fixed.

Thanks for letting us know @FirestormFox! I personally prefer to edit in private/incognito mode to avoid those weird caching errors.

Are you still seeing that message, @Mitch_Rand?

Yes, unfortunately. Even after refreshing, and logging out and back in.

I am also having this issue! There's a popup window that says:

"Website Published! (in large size font}
There was a problem publishing your site." (in small font underneath)

The changes I made are not showing up on my site.

I saw this earlier with a different account, but I was able to successfully publish. If switching browsers/devices doesn't work can you all post a link to the site you are trying to publish so we can try on our end? Thanks!

I was able to successfully publish the site @divineMuses Can you try clearing your cache or try opening a brand new browser? Preferably in private/incognito mode?

Clearing the cache did not work, but using incognito mode did. Thanks for the suggestion! I do hope I can figure out how to get it back to normal working order though.

Same here. Incognito mode works, so at least that is a temporary fix.

So I cleared 100% of my cache (the All Time option) and this fixed it! I think I had only checked "Last 4 weeks" before. If you didn't try that, you might want to look into the time option of how far back to cache. Under Time Range, choose "All time." Thanks for your help, mods!

It's just happened to me this morning. Can't get it to publish anything. And mine also says 'problem' rather than 'error' which I think was being reported before. What's strange is that above those words it says - in large letters - Website Published! Never had this problem in the past.

Same just happened to me. I cleared my cache (previous advice) but that didn't work, so I changed search engines from my usual Chrome to Safari and published successfully.

If just clearing cache didn't help but using incognito did, it sounds like it might be a cookie issue. Logging out and clearing all cookies should fix it too so you don't need to switch browsers. Sorry for the hassle, everyone!

Thanks! That worked perfectly!

I'm a little new to the forums. Can I mark multiple replies as solutions? Both mods suggested solutions that worked.

I had the same problem. Opening up a new incognito tab in Google Chrome allowed me to publish.

That error message gives no information to the user - poor design. Any possibility that could change?

Sorry for the troubles @bikepedx. I believe they are working on fixing the core of the problem. Seems to be a cache/cookie error that is causing it.
