Social Media and Sharing

I love the idea of being able to turn on the sharing buttons for my blog, but I don't understand why it looks like this when I try to share to Facebook:image

It has the blog title, but after that all that shows is the footer info.  I really don't want this in the post.  I've been trying to figure this out (including the help of tech support) since I started this blog.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  Even when I use the Zotabox app or copy & paste the URL it has the same results.  That indicates to me that there is something in the blog code itself causing this to happen.

Also - if there were a way to customize these to not include count or to alter colors, that would be awesome!

Thank you in advance!

@Heirloom_Angelugh, thought that would do it.

Another option is to add an SEO description to each Blog page, which I have done to my blog.

Try entering a description here:

Post Options -> Advanced -> SEO Post Description

Hope it works this time!

We had the same problem and this thread helped fix it

Also, there is a Facebook debugger that can help too https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

@NateMcClain_Art

Thanks for the response, but the photo is not my problem.  It is the actual content.

I have been asking this for a few years and NOT sharing to Facebook because of it.  If I am using a share button directly from a blog post, the content should post...not the footer of my site.  Where is admin on this? Why when I share to Facebook from my site, does the footer information show?

Anyone?  Beuller?

@Heirloom_AngelI compared our sites since we both use Blog feature as I was able to solve this (just forgot how).

Have you  tried <meta property="og:type"   content="website" />

This is entered in Settings -> SEO -> Header Code

@NateMcClain_Art  Well, it didn't work. I even tried editing the code. No change...still the same with my footer info. It doesn't matter if I use Weebly's sharing, my social sharing app, or copy & paste the url... it's still the same.  =(  Thank you for trying to help.  It is sincerely appreciated.
