Scandinavian letters suddenly not working

I've been blogging at weebly since 2013, now suddenly my blogpost isn't coping with the scandinavian letters "æ, ø, å" - what to do... I need them to work, and this has never been a problem before - why just now? In the edit mode, the letters shows correctly.

Really hope someone can help me - I've been working so much with this blog.

You may see the problem here:

Hi @RagnhildE Someone else brought this up about the Euro symbol.. Can you please confirm if the letters are only messing up on a blog post? Can you please try to add some symbols to a basic text element on a standard page and let us know what happens? Thanks so much!

The letters are only messing up this one blog post. I've tried to post another blog post, and that was fine. I don't know, but I posted two blogs with the same title (deleted the first one after publishing nr. 2), and it was the second blog where the scandinavian letters were messed up.

And yes, there is no problem at all on a standard page.

I found my problem! I had a built in instagram-post in my blogpost, with html-code. Removing that, and every scandinavian letters went back to normal!

Oh, wow! That's awesome that you were able to figure out the issue. Thanks for sharing! Smiley Happy

I have the same problem. Does that mean I can't embed the code?

You can still use embed code, @Triinu, though you might need to edit the code so it doesn't interfere with those characters. Sometimes third party widgets will include their own styling or fonts which affect your other text.

How should I edit the code? I do not know anything about it.

I'm sorry, @Triinu But we are not able to assist with custom code. Where did you receive the code in the first place?

It was the embed code from instagram

You might want to try reaching out to Instagram for assistance. Or try to regenerate the code from their end.
