Remove "(NULL)" comments box at bottom of individual blog post page

Hello - I've turned off comments on blog posts, yet see a rectangluar box that says "(NULL)" at the bottom of each individual blog post page. When you click on it, it opens up an additional text box that says "Comments are closed."

I would like to delete this "(NULL)" box.
