Preview/Visualize new themes, what happened?

Up to last week, I could click on Change Theme, pick a theme, click on Preview, and visualize my website on a new theme. Today, by doing the same, that is, clicking Preview shows me the theme with content (I suppose as added by the designer), but not my content.

Is it a bug with the Preview Button?

Hey there SilviaO! Sorry for the trouble. To clarify, you aren't able to currently change Themes on your site? Is this one particular site, or the editor in general?

Just to add that even selecting a new them is not applying to an existing site.

That was the case for two days with different sites and trying in different computers, but it's now working normally again.  Thanks

It looks like our engineers fixed an issue that was causing what you saw. Sorry for the confusion!

What site are you having trouble with, @mnanouchecsb? Have you tried another browser temporarily to see if that helps?

I have a similar problem. I've been trying to preview a different theme and it's just been loading for hours and nothing happens.

Yes, I have tried a different browser and it worked. But I just wanted to preview a different theme and now I don't know how to get back to my previous website layout.

Hey there OllieK! Previewing a theme shouldn't make any changes to your layout normally. What's changed on the site?

i am having the same problem. set aside today to update my 2 sites. went to themes clicked on one i liked and it just keeps not uploading. tried safari and firefox same annoying spinning clock...

Can you try Chrome incognito mode? Also, if you click on the thumbnail you will have another preview option. What themes are not loading the preview for you?

This doesn't link to anything. What is the solution? I can't change themes anymore.

I am new to Weebly and trying to set up a website. I was trying to preview different theme, but, every time I hit the "Preview" button, it would not show the theme -- it just went back to the theme I was trying to change. Any idea why I can't get a preview of an optional theme?
