When browsing published photos I note that quite a bit gets clipped from the border, although when you click on it and enlarge it you see the whole thing. Is there a way to prevent the clippinjg?

Are you adusting the cropping? Once you've uploaded your photo, click in the gallery box. In the pop-up, click "Advanced". The bottom option says "Image Ratio". It's set at rectangle by default, but changing it to "none" shows the entire photo in the thumbnail view.

You're welcome! I prefer mine to show the full photo as well, so I automatically get in and switch that as soon as I add photos to any gallery
