Navigation menu shows multiple pages
I have come across an issue whereby a couple of pages that I have created, removed and then re-created are showing up as duplicates on the website's navigation menu, yet there are no duplicate pages shown within the Weebly editing screens on the back end.
Has anyone come across this before, and if so found a solution?

Hi @Bernadette,
I probably didn't clearly explain the issue I am having - it is not two coloumns, but rather duplicate nav items (namely Tools, Wearable Tech and Webcams) showing up on the live site.
The above images show two different browser windows.
The Left image shows the Pages window, with the listing of Pages on the left, and the equivalent website view that I tried to line up.
The Right image shows the nav menu as it currently appears on the website (as you have also shown above) with the duplicate menu items of Tools, Wearable Tech and Webcams - two of which result in 404 errors.
I cannot find thes duplicate pages with Weebly's Site Editor, I am just trying to find a solution to remove the duplicates from the live site.

Ah! I see. I didn't catch that at first. I believe I was in Chrome. Which browsers were you in?

Chrome, Firefox and Edge - all show the same nav structure with duplicates.

Do we have permission to publish? Also there is a slight chance it could be due to the custom theme, but I'll see if I can get some answers for you.

Please do.
The only custom thing about the site is the moving of the cart to the top and a size setting for headers.
I had hit publish after adding and removing pages but haven't seen the results come through.

Great, thank you! It can be a litle tricky if a site is on a custom theme, but I'll let them know what changes you made.

Okay @sandmantech
They are telling me it is most likely the custom html conflicting with the theme. Can you log into the editor and click on the Themes tab to switch the theme to a Weebly standard one? The middle tab will show 2 themes you had tried out before editing the code. After switching and publishing, can you let us know if the problem still persists? Your custom theme will still be available to use as well so you won't have to worry about losing it.

Thanks @Bernadette.
Seems to work now, not sure how a "custom" theme could cause this issue.
Anyway, the steps taken were:
- Themes -> Change Theme -> Recently Used
- Click Choose
- Click Publish
- Clear all cache (cookies and data) from browser
- Refresh site in broswer
Looks correct, now to change back to the "custom" theme
- Themes -> Change Theme -> Custom
- Click Choose
- Click Publish
- Clear all cache (cookies and data) from browser
- Refresh site in broswer
- Checked in second broswer
All good.
Would be interested to know how the theme caused this issue with such minimal changes?

So even after going back to the custom theme everything worked okay? @Adam would probably be able to explain why the custom theme would cause the original issue. He'll be in tomorrow.

Yep, everything works (and looks) as it should under the custom theme.
Thanks for the help @Bernadette.
