If you open your website in the site editor and it shows as blank and isn't loading correctly, there are a few different solutions you can try:

  1. Use a different browser temporarily. The newest versions of Chrome, FireFox, Safari (in mac OS) and Edge (in Windows) are supported.
  2. Check to see if you have any firewall, ad-blocking, or other security software installed on your computer. If you do, try disabling it temporarily or whitelisting both weebly.com and editmysite.com.
  3. Go to the Theme tab and try changing themes to see if it's an issue with the current theme.
  4. If you are using apps from the App Center, try disabling them one at a time to see if one is causing an issue. You can do that by going to Settings > My Apps in the website editor, then clicking the "..." button for an app.

It's possible it's your custom theme causing a problem, @vineetkumar. Try going to our themes page, clicking on a theme, then applying it to your site to see if that resolves the issue for you.

I think it's an issue with your theme, @iamjohnpalencia. While logged into your account, visit this page of our site:

https://www.weebly.com/themes

Click on theme, then click on the button to apply it to a site and choose the one that is giving you trouble. That should let you editor your site again.

I'm having the same issue and changing my theme doesn't produce a result. And now that I've messed with my themes my site is a mess.

When I try to get into the editor it just stops loading. No pages not even the tools under build.

Outlander Watch. The theme has worked just fine for well over a year now. Was there some sort of update which could change that?

I think it's an issue with the custom theme you have, @sireesanwar. Try switching to a standard theme - that should help get you editing.

Why is the problem with the theme? I've been using this theme for a while now and it hasn't had a problem until now? And changing my theme means images I have saved in my theme disappear. Also, I can't download my previous theme so I know what customizations I've made in the past so I can update a new theme.

The base of my theme was one of the newer themes so I'm curious why it was a problem?

Also, I did change my them to the base of the theme I was using (no customizations) and now I can't get into the editor again. Seems like that wasn't the issue.

Adam,

My editor page also won't load. I am kirschk.weebly.com. Will you check the code?

Are you on a school network, @KarenKirsch12? I didn't have any trouble opening that site in the editor, although I have seen some school IT departments add blocks which prevented sites from loading in the editor.

I have a Mac and I am using AT&T as my provider.  All weebly editing via WiFi unisg the AT&T modem/router was very slow.  My other Mac connected via ethernet had no issues.  I purchased a cheap router and all my WiFI responsiveness issues are gone. (My guess is that AT&T did a firmware upgrade a few months back and that is when my issues started.)  bill.kanyusik@gmail.com

I have the same issue for the past year. i'ts very annoying to have a paid pro version of weebly, been using since literally 2008 and I am so deeply distressed that I CAN NOT EDIT my website. This thwarts my business and time i have to work on the site. I need help. I have cleared cache, cookies, history, used incognito chrome, i have done it all.

Weebly says it's my ip address and my internet provider. HOW CAN THAT BE? please help solve this for me once and for all or after more than 10 years i will need to leave weebly. I'm sad. thank you,

Stephanie
