How to use the member login as a URL parameter?
Hi, I would like to insert an html using the login username of the "member" of my page as a parameter into the URL. How can I do it?
My code es something as the following:
<iframe height='1000px' width='100%' frameborder='0' allowTransparency='true' scrolling='auto' src='https://urlname.com/#form:Employee?EmployeeName=TheLoginThatIWantToInclude'></iframe>
Thank you,
David

Unfortunately, I don't think that the name of a member is stored in any way that a browser could access, @dlondono.

In the same vein, how can the email address from the User Registration window (and possibly the optional name) be snooped and passed on to pre-load and personalize the landing page? Again, this is basic stuff on most modern web sites. However, I don't see any reference to it in the User Instructions or anywhere in the Community forum.

Something like that is probably possibly with client scripting, but that's definitely beyond what many of our Community members could probably help with. Is this something you wanted to build into an app for the App Center, @rwaldenjr?

Yes Adam, that would be the ideal, or at least have access to the elements' IDs and their path/location to be able to write some custom script, in lieu of a full-on app or widget.
- Thanks

Any update to this? Would at least like to include the email address in the member url.

I would post about this on our App Development board - I think you'll be able to get a bit better advice there for this question.
