How to get social metadata from my blog to Facebook and Pinterest
Hi guys,
I am experiencing issues in adding some sort of Open Graph codes into the header of my website (wich also contains my blog).
Everything went right with rich pins: just added a few lines in the header and the pins are displayed with correct metadata.
But the same stuff is not working for Facebook. Every post from my blog that I try to share on FB shows a disaster in metadata displaying wrong informations (the same article metadata for every post). So I have to correct manually all the posts to give them proper info on FB. It would be a total failure if someone tries to share my blog posts on FB.
Probably I am missing something in coding.
Now I deleted all the codes in the header and I still have rich pins, but no info loaded on FB post.
Can anyone help please? It's important to me because I try to promote my business.
Thank you.

Hi, @Luciano!
While I can't personally help you, I know a few community members that may be able to.
Paging @BJ and @MTpockets...
Thanks,
Erin

Hi Luciano,
I'm very familiar with OG tags. I can certainly help you with this. Unfortuantely with our blogs there is a limitation, with the OG tags you have to add them to the header code and it doesn't give the option to have a new header on each blog post, only on the overall blog page.
What you can do is try running the facebook debugger. https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

Thanks MTpockets.
Yes, I spotted this problem.
The thing is on Pinterest blog posts pins (strangely) change header notwithstanding the unique title, while on Facebook this does not happen so title and desription are always the ones you wrote in the OG code. This seems pretty weird as FB is the only social network with this issue.
I ran the FB debugger. Sorry for my ignorance in coding, but what are the lines I should copy/paste into my header?
Is there any chance Weebly is going to solve this issue with OG tags?
Cause people like me have pro (or superior) plans and this is a damage to blogs while spending money.

Are you planning to release this feature soon? Social media is a great way to advertise blog posts, and specific OG tags for each post is key!
